balloon in the sky

The worlds most popular search engine " Google " is launching internet beaming antennas into the stratosphere sky , which are aboard giant, jellyfish-shaped balloons with the lofty goal of getting the entire planet online. The project is called "Google loon project" getting its name from the ending of the word " balloon ".

According to news sources the project has been Eighteen months in the works, the top-secret project was announced Saturday in New Zealand, where up to 50 volunteer households are already beginning to receive the internet briefly on their home computers via giant helium balloons that sail by on the wind 19-20 kilometers just above Earth.

Like the Internet search engine for which Google is best known, Project Loon uses algorithmic approach to determine where the balloons need to sail its way, then moves them into sky winds blowing in the desired direction, the company said.

Google said "By moving with the wind, the balloons form a network of airborne hot spots that can deliver Internet access over a broad area at speeds comparable to 3G(High speed) using open radio frequency bands".
To connect to the balloon network, a special Internet antenna is attached to buildings below.keeping in mind driver safety Google has also developed self-driving vehicles.

While the project is still in the very early testing stages, Google hopes eventually to launch thousands of the thin, polyethylene-film inflatables and bring the internet to some of the more remote parts of the globe, narrowing the digital divide between the 2.2 billion people who are online and almost 4.8 billion who aren't.

We look forward for the great innovation in technology and wait in hope that it will be soon available at every doorstep who are in need!!
